Your moisturiser sits within reach by the basin, with your serum beside it. But is that the best place for them? As the heating comes back on, it is worth checking where you keep your skincare. A few simple habits make caring for your products part of your routine.

01Choose a spot away from the radiator

Heat, light and temperature changes can affect cosmetics. Avoid leaving skincare on a radiator or a sunny windowsill. A dry, shaded spot away from splashes is a better choice. Always follow any specific storage instructions on your packaging.

02Clean hands are part of the routine

Take cream out with freshly washed hands or a clean, dry spatula. Keep lids and tools clean too. Close jars and bottles carefully after each use. Do not add water to your skincare or mix leftover products into the container.

03What does the open-jar symbol mean?

The open-jar symbol shows how long a product can be used after it is first opened. For example, “12 M” means twelve months. This is an example, not a shelf-life claim for all uprise products. Follow the information on your own product and note when you first open it.

04Open what you will actually use

You do not need to open every product at once. Start with what fits your routine. The Hydrating Day Cream is your morning moisturiser; the Multi Vitamin Drops are an optional step before it. Our guide helps you choose a simple combination.

If the smell or colour changes noticeably, stop using the product. For questions about your uprise skincare, contact us with the product name and batch number if possible. A normal smell does not replace the shelf-life information.
